I got accepted in the Film category from deviant, so i can finally upload the stop motion animation loop from my icarus project. A lot of the details are not very vissible in this movie, cause normally it's viewed on a 2meter wide screen, but aahh well... :)
I wrote an 8 page paper about the concept, the emotions, and the simular subjects that are in the story of icarus as well as in my personal life of the past few months when i made it. Only negative thing: The text is in Dutch, so i still have to translate it. If you are a bit interested in the deeper meening of it all you can always post it here and i will be happy to give you a clearer view of the whole project. But for now i will let you interpret your own feelings and idea's. Don't be affraid to share them, i'm curious :)

Technical specifications:

Stop Motion made in photoshop and flash

1460 frames, 19 layers in flash,
- don't know how many layers in photoshop sorry :)

Sound: sound effects recorded mixed with a sample of Kesson daslef by aphex twin.

time: a big five weeks for the whole project, this is just a part of it.

@00:57Wel als je de scriptie(pdf) wil lezen moet je het me maar weten te zeggen :). Nog al een geluk dat je nederlands spreekt ;) hij is nog niet vertaald naar het engels zodus... :s ben ik nog wel enkele dagen zoet mee. Het volledige project kan je trouwens hier terug vinden: [link]
